They sorted it all mechanically, mainly things underneath such as brakes, and pipes which need replacing, then did a few paint related issues, Always giving an honest opinion on the work which needs doing then completing it in a timely manner, and at what I think to be a very fair price considering the high standard of work.   • "Been using the garage now since it opened, for all of my cars. They've persevered with my Mustang for the past couple of weeks, to fix a water leak(s) in the boot, that has persisted for 2 years. Ford couldn't find it after a couple of attempts, then didnt want to know, nor could anyone else find it, & I was at the end of my tether. The guys at the Motorist found several leaks, even removing & rebonding all the glass in the rear end, then resealing the bodywork seams. A really nightmare job, that most garages (even Ford) dont want to know. I now have no leaks & can't thank you guys enough. MOT's, servicing, repairs, fault finding, they've done it all for me over the years superbly, and dont do unneccessary work. Always a great transparent service provided, and proper workmanship. Always at a very reasonable price too given the expertise . There's only 2 garages I trust with the Mustang. This is one of them, and the one I go to the most often"

Tommy has quite honestly done a world class job with the paint! We have been going to the Motorist since it started and will continue to visit. TYRES

Ensuring your tyres are fit for use is a legal requirements and bald tyres, tyres worn below the legal limit and tyres which are cracked and damaged can land a fine of £2,500 and up to three points per tyre. If you have held your license for two years or less and have two dodgy tyres you could be banned.
The legal limit for tyre tread is 1.6mm and The Motorist Garage can check this for you as part of an inspection. If your tyre is below the legal limit or your tyres have a crack in the sidewall or other problems which render the tyre past repair, The Motorist Garage can change a tyre and replace tyres for you.
The Motorist Garage can advise on uneven wear on tyres, which can be the symptom of mechanical problems elsewhere and left long term, can lead to premature expenditure on new tyres if the tread is worn unevenly and leaves parts of the tyre below the legal limit.
In addition to checking for mechanical faults, if your tracking isn’t correct on your car, this can cause uneven tyre wear. The Motorist Garage can fix tracking on your car to prevent uneven tyre wear.
The Motorist Garage also have facilities onsite to balance wheels on your car in addition to all tyre changing facilities.
