Supercars and Coffee, Leeds Mind Charity Event 10am - 2pm

In 2017/18, six of Jason Holman’s celebrity friends passed away due to suicide. (Jason is the Director of Leeds Supercar Meet and a Celebrity Tour Manager.)

It was obvious at this time that mental health issues needed bringing to everyone’s attention. Through this very difficult time Jason found help with Leeds Mind. Although a part of the National Mind Charity, they rely solely on donations to their local office, Jason wanted to help raise money for them and…….Supercars & Coffee was born!

The 2019 venue was chosen from one of the Sponsors of Leeds Supercar Meet in Baildon just outside of Leeds. One hundred of LSM Members came to display on the day including a member bringing along his new McLaren Senna. The event raised a lot of local press before the day due to its connection to raising awareness of Mental Health, this in turn raised awareness of the Police Interceptors TV show that came on the day bringing not only some local officers from the TV show but also a camera crew to film the event for the TV show. Sponsors of LSM were there on the day advertising their businesses to the members of public and the whole event raised a lot of interest with four thousand members of public attending on the day. A raffle was held with great prizes donated from bottles of wine to a weekend in London for two.

In three short years the event has gained a lot of press, even featuring on ITV Calendar News and the event has raised £16,482.60 for Leeds Mind.
